A manhunt for the shooter continues, with the FBI and local authorities combing the scene for clues in what appears to be a targeted act of ideological hatred.

For instance, segments on CNN and elsewhere have been accused of downplaying the tragedy or subtly shifting blame onto Kirk’s “controversial” stances, as highlighted by international outlets like Sky News Australia, which tore into the “disturbing left-wing media attack” on a man gunned down in cold blood. Author Douglas Murray blasted MSNBC’s coverage as “shameful,” pointing out how such smears dehumanise conservatives and fuel further division.
These MSM news outlets are complicit in his death due to the hate-filled vitriol and lies they spew every single day, demonising people on the right for holding normal conservative views. By constantly portraying conservatives as “extremists” or “threats to democracy,” they create an environment where violence becomes thinkable—even justifiable—to their audiences. This is unequivocally a left-wing problem; it is predominantly the left who engage in political violence, not the right. From campus disruptions to antifa riots and now assassinations, the pattern is clear: when arguments fail, force follows. These so-called news outlets should be proscribed as domestic terrorists for pushing the violent, divisive, hate-filled rhetoric that they vomit out every single day. Their role in stoking hatred cannot be ignored any longer; regulatory bodies and lawmakers must step in to hold them accountable, perhaps through defamation reforms or even classifications under anti-terrorism laws if their output continues to incite harm.
Adding to the outrage are the disgusting and sickening displays of celebration and joy shown by leftist trolls on social media, revelling in the death of a father and husband who did absolutely nothing wrong other than be a Christian conservative. Posts flooded platforms like X (formerly Twitter), with users declaring “good riddance” and claiming Kirk “deserved it” for his views on issues like Ukraine, George Floyd, or empathy in politics. One user wrote, “The only good fascist is a dead one,” while another mocked his family, saying, “He got exactly what he deserved.” Others celebrated outright, with comments like “Charlie Kirk is dead??? Lmaooo good riddance” and “Good Riddance! Good Charlie Kirk is dead.” To these leftists on social media: if you have taken to platforms to celebrate the assassination of Charlie Kirk, then you are the extremists, not Charlie. You are the ones on the wrong side of history, and you are the ones whose hearts are full of hatred and evil. Look deeply into your hearts and decide if that is really the side you want to be aligned with—a side that cheers the murder of a man leaving behind a grieving wife, Erika, and two young children who witnessed the horror.
